Anxiety/Depression Comfort group 😁

If you need someone to talk to, I’m here. I have anxiety but not depression, and yet helped many friends with it. Maybe I have some good techniques to help??

I have major anxiety someone I loved died and I can’t sleep I have nightmares and I cry at random times and it’s not good

do lookup christin neff videos on self compassion - they are must for self care when things look or feel grim

I am so sorry that this happened!

Your son must have been a great person! Something I would do is maybe go through the good memories you had with him, maybe even hang pictures that has him in it.

When I did this for my grandma, I could feel her all around me. Maybe this will happen to you?

Here is something you could try:

Breath in for 4 seconds
Hold your breath for 6 seconds
Let it out for 5 seconds

This breathing exercise has helped me when I start having an anxiety attack, kinda like what you described.

When I wanted to know what type of anxiety I have, I searched. I found out that I have “Seperation Anxiety Disorder”.

So when I’m away from my family or someone who I know very well, I start breaking down and worrying about them.

I know it feels like you can’t do anything. But here is a word that can help

“Try”

Over a year ago i went through a messy break up and now there’s this guy i like and he likes me but we’re not together yet. He tells me he doesn’t want to rush anything and he has been there for me since i met him 10 years ago but i have a problem overthinking and i want to believe him but my ex lied to me and its made it harder for me to trust. Any advice?
