Has anyone ever tried the pineapple to help with labor or to get some contractions going? What are your thoughts on it?

Yes I’m curious to know if it’s true or did it help anyone. I also heard about midwives brew and i saw some YouTube videos saying that definitely helps you go into labor.

A friend of mine did it and it worked for her. Apparently papaya also works. I don't like either so what worked for me was taking power walks or anything with a bit of cardio. I think it's different for each person and pregnancy.

You need to eat alot of pineapples in my opinion. I ate pineapple throughout pregnancy and never saw a difference.

I walk almost every day I worked thru my whole pregnancy and it wasn’t sitting either it was a lot of walking both of my jobs were walking. I know I should let my baby come on his own but at this point he’s hurting so much. He hurts my private lower abdomen it feels like I’m pulling a muscle or something. I just want to try something where I can get some contractions going at least .

Pineapple definitely works ladies...I ate pineapple with my daughter whom is now 5years old when I was due and had no sign of labour, I had pineapple about 9am followed by a mild hot bath and at 11am I was in active labour I have birth at 2pm pineapple soften the cervixs very quickly , I will be doing it again once I hit the 40week Mark and did not deliver yet make sure you 40 weeks before encouraging the labour with home made methods try also not to consume alot of pineapple during your pregnancy as it will not work once you use it for labour...I'm 32 weeks currently and had no pineapple during this pregnancy as I will start consuming it from 38 weeks once a day and on the 40week I'll have a whole pineapple and wait for contractions
