Relative with depression

Postby ØNamelessØ » Fri Apr 16, 2021 11:17 am

My cousin opened up to me about his mental health last night, and it’s way worse than I thought. He’s a year younger than me, and lives hours away so I can’t do anything for him physically (he needs a hug🥺). When he was explaining I felt like I was about to cry, he’s had it so bad and nobody noticed. I hate myself for not being there to help him. Anyway, from now I’m going to do the best I can to help him, but I’m not sure how. I’ve started by sending him a message when we wakes up to help motivate him, but idk what else I can do. Anyone got ideas?

before he leaves make him a “reasons to smile” jar. exchange numbers. make it apart of your routine to talk to him! best of luck! xxx
