That’s no good, sorry. Hopefully you get better,

Oh no Tee. Do you have a pregnancy pillow. Have you tried to use a heat pad or hot water bottle? That eased up the pain I was getting.
If you can rest literally take the weight off your feet.
If it's that bad and your in that much pain then yeah go. But you should be able to call you Midwife 24/7 give them a ring first.
Hope you feel better soon.

I'm 14 Weeks today! Woohoo. Congrats on the milestone. Not that long left. Yes my bump is here and obvious now so I am glad I told family.
Stretch marks are increasing around the sides of my boobs and around my belly button.

So, I've read into heat patches, hot water bottles etc and they scare you to say the least. I've even stopped hot baths and i miss them so bad, I can't even soak in these rubbish warm baths, just get in wash and get out. I didn't have this pain with my son but was sick right through, dunno which I prefer but it isn't fair *sigh*.
I've been looking into pregnancy pillows for so long I'm so stuck on the best one to get and then good reviews mixed with bad reviews its hard to know what I'm buying

It's safe to use on your back. Obvs not ok on the abdomen. So when I use my wheat bag I place on my butt where I have the pain it's away from abdo and baby.
I have had 1 bath in the last 12 weeks and it was warm and I hated it. What's the point if a warmish bath!!!! I like my baths super Hot and steamy.

The other thing is support belts and belly bands. I know you can be prescribed a special belt from Physios.
If the pain is that bad get yourself on the phone to your Midwife or GP. They should refer you to a physio.
Not sure if this is possible for you but a Mctimony chiropractor is amazing (they dont do the aggresive manipulation and actually work on the muscles around the bones) also a sports massage by a physio who uses the technique "Active Release" make sure anyone you go to is certified to work with pregnant ladies. Also acupuncture can be helpful for pain for some ladies but it is temp solution.

Oh, lol I just thought it meant totally anywhere.
Yeah, my baths are steamy and beautiful, I hate these but I hate showers unless I'm in a tropical country (or not at home). I know it sounds silly,
especially for the amount of pain im in but I don't really have time for any of that, even speaking with midwives is long winded, GPs the same thing. I'm definitely calling on Monday with hopes they'll let me come in cause even just laying in bed is painful whereas laying and sitting used to ease the pain. I had a few times today where I stepped and it was gone but a few more n it came right back. I dunno what to do with myself

I bought some really nice belly butter and oil from Willow By The Sea it's completely organic, vegan friendly etc I tried to upload a pic for everyone with the ingredients but don't know how the link thing works πŸ˜… smells quite subtle of lemongrass and something else Almond oil?

Yws I know your a busy lady but as some point if it gets to a point you cant ignore anymore you will want to be in contact with Gp or Midwife as they will need to sign you off. Let's hope it doesn't get to that stage but yeah physio physio physio.

And yes Heat away from the abdomen on the back it is safe. Esepcially if placed over the butt area and boney area like sacrum.
