Teen weight loss...

Hey ladies... so I am now considered obese on the BMI scale... I’m 16 years old 5’4 and I weigh 181 to 182 pounds... I have never been this heavy... A lot of girls on my dads side are all pretty heavy set so I do get a little of it from that plus I was on depo for 3 years, but it seems like I’m gaining more weight now that I’m off the depo... I really want to keep my booty and my breasts but I would loveee to lose a little weight in my stomach and I just don’t know how!!! I need help!!

Do you drink alot of sodas? If so maybe try drinking water instead, with a soda only occasionally. Before I got pregnant I drank a ton of sodas, but then after I cut way back to one a day and started drinking water instead and dropped almost 50 lbs that way.

I’ll try that!! I drink a lot of soda and tea mostly so that is probably a reason lol.

But I’m confused does that mean if you’re 5’7” and 139.4 lb does that make me overweight too.

No you are not over weight. Height and age playa factor on if you are over weight.

Cut down on sugar and snacks such as crisps and chocolates etc. If you’re going to drink soda drink diet or sugar free and if you like tea then green tea is great for weight loss! Speak to your parents about making it a whole family thing of being healthier and having healthier meals, it doesn’t mean you have to cut things like pizza night out all together though, just have more good than bad food during the week, also take up a new sport you love doing, or running, you don’t need to be at the gym to lose weight and doing something you enjoy doing will actually be better in the long run and you’ll stick to it more, you could do this with family also or a friend to make it more fun. Unfortunately you can’t choose where you lose weight from and it’s likely that your boobs will decrease but doing exercises like squats and lunges will help to maintain your bum and shape it up also, and the best part is you can do exercises like that at home!

Ask you physician to see a nutritionist. They can calculate the calories you need and give you professional advice on losing weight. Losing weight can be dangerous if unsupervised and not supported correctly.

Hi! I was over 200lbs when I was a teen, my height was 5’3. I started to ride bike to work and walk with my mom. Also, I stopped drinking soda completely and started to drink water. Try not to eat after 7PM because you are more likely to relax and that way your body won’t burn as much calories. Also not to eat when you are not hungry. When you are hungry, snack on vegetables, nuts or fruits. I lost a lot by doing those things but the most important thing is the exercise.

Hi..well in the past few days I started to have a strong cravings to sugar and I suddenly gained allot of weight and i really feel bad and i dont know how to stop those cravings and lose weight. Can i have some help?

I just gained 10 lbs out of nowhere!! I don't know what happened, other than I just started an intense Pe class at my school. It's not possible to gain 10 lbs of muscle in two weeks is it?! Last year when I ended Pe I had 33% body fat, but now I have 20%... I'm still devistated that my BMI says a 30, moderately obese... WHAT?? btw im 5'1 and NOW 159lbs. What should I do? Keto AGAINNN???
