Old topic but new info!!!

I got a tip from a customer I was serving for weight gain. She said to drink meal shakes at night before you go to bed instead of during the day. I feel foolish for not thinking of it earlier.

Meal shakes are a great way to help gain calories, especially when you have a smaller appetite. However, drinking them during the day will cause those calories to be used up as you go about your daily business, as your body will use the meal shake to fuel you. Drinking the shake at night will force your body to store away the calories since it has no need for them during sleep, creating weight gain.

I tried this out myself and went from 119 lbs to 125 lbs in a few days when drinking at night, while I struggled to get to 123 lbs and immediately dropped back to 120 lbs when I drank during the day.
