Weight loss and Ovulation

Okay.. crazy question.
My husband and I have started a weight loss journey together this month. We have been eating WAY healthier and proportioning our meals. and we started our new workout plan on Monday (today is thursday). I upped my calories a bit since we are working out now. But the past 3 days I HAVE BEEN SO HUNGRY!!!! I have felt extremely exhausted, almost drunk-like. Last time I had a workout plan and better eating I didn't experience this. Then I realized today that I am in my 3rd day of ovulation or fertility window or whatever. Can ovulating make you more hungry than normal when you're dieting and exercising??? Because I'm eating a lot and have no idea why I'm so hungry!!!

Not sure about ovulation, but it happens before my period starts.

Concentrate more on your protein intake and that will help to keep you fuller longer. I'm a gastric bypass patient 4 years out and I've noticed if I don't get enough protein I feel like I'm starving all the time.

To me my body gets hungry when I'm close to my period....
