coming out

coming out

Postby Selenelion » Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:55 pm

I feel like maybe I should come out to my family, but I don't know. I still have doubts with my sexuality and stuff and my family couldn't handle bi, then gay then back to bi. Iwasn't planning to come out until college, because I don't want my hs to find out. But they are being horrible to my friend and maybe they would listen if I sat them down and said they are basically being transphobic and would listen because I am queer.

Idk what do y'all think?

I’m straight so I probably don’t have the best advice but I’ll try anyway. If I was in your position, I’d tell my parents that I’m [insert here] and if they think that’s a problem then tell them they should be happy for you and be fine with whatever makes you feel comfortable. If they have an issue with that, then don’t involve them any further.
