Things you secretly want to say to your parents.

This is the main one

I’m not talking to you in a tone, this is my normal tone, you’ve heard it for 13 years so I’m slightly angry that you didn’t recognise it but that’s ok. It’s been put in a different context now so it may sound more aggressive to you, however I’m speaking in my normal voice there has been no tonal shift. Would you rather I speak in a high voice and sound like a pterodactyl or a low voice and sound like corpse, or maybe I could go international and put on an Australian accent. I could even start talking like a bbc news reporter reporting on covid-19, back to you sis over in the studio.
Maybe I went off abit too much there, but you get what I’m saying. Just because I slightly raise my voice doesn’t mean I became Henry VIII and want you executed

This is kinda weird, but I don't even really want to talk to them. I just want to be able to live my life without worrying about how they view me. There's nothing wrong with them, but I just need some freedom.

f**k off, people at risk of dying from COVID do not deserve to die. Shut up. I could die from this, no telling. I f**cking hate I have to live every day in preparation for the day you guys cut me off and/or kick me out. I shouldn’t have to worry about that at this age. I shouldn’t have to worry about the fact that if I say TWO GODDAMN WORDS YOU MIGHT NOT LOVE ME THE SAME.
IT’S AWFUL.
I LOVE YOU, OF COURSE I DO. BUT I DON’T LIKE YOU, I CAN HATE THIS AND LOVE YOU AT THE SAME TIME

I wish you would let me go get tested for something. I don’t like living hyper fixation to hyper fixation.

I wish you could just…understand I’m not neurotypical. I can’t act like you, but I have to hide it. I can’t stim in front of you, or complain about things that bother me because you will judge me more than my toxic friends would.

I deserved better than this

Edit: Mom, I remember that one time you hit me.
It was only once for you, I’ve replayed it in my head 100s of times.
I haven’t forgotten.
It would be nice if you acknowledged it.
it would be nice if you acknowledged the fact it left a bruise on my shoulder
It would be nice if you acknowledged that it still affects me
But you won’t
Because then it would actually be your fault
